Meet Vrushali Wagh!
Vrushali is the HR & Recruitment Manager at Tummoc.
“I was born and brought up in Sangamner, Ahmednagar. I stayed there till my 12th standard and then moved to Pune to pursue my BBA. Soon after graduating, I began working — I wanted to be independent and work along with my further studies.
Moving to Pune was life-changing. It was where I found my wings, became independent, made the best memories with the best people.
When I was in Pune, I stayed with my elder sister. She’s one of the most important people in my life. She’s always been a pillar of support and a role model.
I’m grateful to have such a supportive family. I’ve always made my own decisions, and they’ve stood by me through it all. I’m proud to say I’m a self-made woman.
My first job was as a Recruiter in a consultancy firm. My role involved interacting with various candidates, employees and companies. When I saw how much I enjoyed this job, I decided to start a career in Human Resources. A year later, I completed my Master’s degree in Personnel Management (MPM).
Next, I joined DSP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as an HR Generalist and then got promoted to Senior HR Generalist. I got the opportunity to work with my now mentor Mr Dadasaheb Pote. He has provided me with the motivation, support and guidance that has gotten me through many milestones ever since.
In February 2021, I got married and was all set to start a new chapter of my life. My husband and I shifted to Mumbai. I took a short break from work to settle into my new life. Then COVID hit, and it was a challenge to find a job. But, my husband Chetan Wagh, stood by me and motivated me to keep going.
Soon, we both got jobs in Bangalore and moved here to start another chapter together. Now, here I am, working at Tummoc as the HR & Recruitment Manager. I look after all HR activities, end-to-end recruitment and operations.
Hiranmay, Monalisha and Narayan, the co-founders, are all extremely talented and hardworking. Team Tummoc is so great to work with. Everyone has made it so much easier to be living in a new city. We’re like a family.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports, travelling and cooking. I find myself trying new recipes in my free time or when I need to unwind. On the weekends, I enjoy watching movies, going shopping or exploring new places and experiences.”
