“I was born and brought up in Asansol, West Bengal, and that’s where I completed my schooling in 2015. After that, I moved down south to Chennai to pursue my engineering and graduated from SRM University in 2019.

It was in the 3rd year of my Bachelor’s that I began my journey as an Entrepreneur. I completed 43 internships in various domains in my first and second years. For the entire 3rd year of college, I experimented in the market without a product and studied about how to help companies through remote gig workers. Based on my understanding and extensive market research, I began building Picxele™ in late 2018 and officially launched it as soon as I graduated in May 2019 and it has been operating in the gig economy space since June 2019. Picxele™ has been bootstrapped right from its inception and has successfully scaled to 400K+ users with a TAT of around 3 hours and met the gig demand for over 250 companies till now.

Following a fruitful FY21, I’ve been in and around the startup ecosystem, helping fellow entrepreneurs as a mentor and as an Angel Investor. So far, I’ve invested in seven startups and mentored some student-led startups to help them grow their startups right from the root stage during their college days.

In my free time, I love to watch cricket, but unfortunately, since time doesn’t permit I have stopped playing. Most of my time is spent on understanding the different sectors in the startup ecosystems and market dynamics.

Before joining Tummoc officially, I worked with the founding team for a year by meeting their requirements via Picxele™. Over time, we formed a bond that got stronger with time, leading me to become their Growth Head. One of the best parts of working here is that it feels like my own startup, and I feel like a founder all over again. I look forward to learning a lot from the amazing founders of Tummoc.”
