Meet Devang — Tummoc’s in-house Graphic Designer!
“I was born and brought up in Dombivli, Thane. This is where I’ve spent my life so far and completed my schooling & graduation.
I opted for science when I was in Junior College but soon realized that science — mostly chemistry — was not my piece of cake. So, when it was time to look for degree courses, I looked for something in the sciences which didn’t involve physics and chemistry.
Being a gamer, I had an inclination for computers and technology, so I decided to pursue my BSc in IT. I got into K.C. College. It didn’t take me long to figure out that coding was not what I enjoyed doing on computers, and I wanted to do something more creative. I learnt how to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and how to edit videos, etc. Finally, I knew I was on the right track.
Before I knew it, I was taking on freelance projects as a designer. And I also looked after all design requirements for our college fest for two years. After graduating, a friend of mine, Aniket Dongre, recommended me to the startup that gave me my first job. Here, I got a chance to learn and grow, but unfortunately, the startup shut down in 3 months.
Soon after I went back to freelancing, I received a message from Tummoc’s HR Vrushali Wagh on Cutshort.io about a job opening at Tummoc. The next thing I knew, I was Tummoc’s new Graphic Designer.
Both the culture and the team at Tummoc are great. I’m grateful to everyone for being so welcoming and kind. I’ve already learnt so much, after only about three months, and I look forward to learning and growing a lot more with Tummoc.”
