Recently, we joined hands with BMTC to deliver an easier commute to the people of Bengaluru. You can now book your BMTC passes online on Tummoc. As of now, you can certain types of daily, weekly, and monthly passes. Here’s how you can get your BMTC bus pass online:
Step 1: Download Tummoc! Next, log in/sign up.
Step 2: You’ll find a “BMTC Passes” button on the home screen. Tap on it. OR you can also search for your route and once you find your route/commute options, you will be shown a button to book your pass.
Step 3: Next, you have to choose the pass category. The three pass categories to choose from are daily, weekly and monthly passes.
Step 4: Once you’ve picked the pass category, you have to select the type of pass. This varies based on the pass category.
Step 5: Now, fill in your booking details. Your personal and pass details will already be pre-filled since you created a Tummoc account. In case you see any inaccuracies in the information, hit ‘edit’ and make the corrections, and tap on “Save and Continue”.
Step 6: Now, you need to verify your photo and identity. Upload a selfie, and enter the ID number for a government ID of your choice. You will have to carry this id with you while commuting.
Step 7: Almost there! Double-check all the details in the pass preview. If everything is correct, check ✅ the box to confirm details.
Step 8: Tap on “Make Payment.” Once your payment is completed, you’re all set! You’ll be shown your pass now. You can also save it offline.
Once on the bus — to validate your pass, use the QR code scanner on your pass to scan the QR code that will be available on the bus/with the conductor.
If the conductor wants to validate your pass, they will scan the QR code on your pass, or cross-check your pass details and ID.
